Garden room tied into the surrounding landscape

Wanting to use the garden all year round, the clients hired an architect to design and build a garden room, which was tied in to the existing home and surrounding landscape. The materiality of the Yorkshire stone house was mirrored around the garden room to blend the modern with the traditional. Level changes compartmentalised the garden in intriguing ways.
